Itinerary of a contemporary painter
At an early age, Philippe Bellefleur began observing his father Léon, while the latter was painting and inventing a new world of colors and extraordinary forms. It is said that the young Philippe started drawing sketches, while sitting on his father's lap.
Since 2006, Philippe Bellefleur participates regularly in important expositions. The titles of these exhibitions testify of his evolution and preoccupations: (1) "Zen Moment"(2006), (2) "Between Two Worlds" (2007), (3) "The Power of Unpredictability" (2009), (4) "Outpouring" (2012) .
Recently, his exposition "Two generations, one cause: Creativity" (2015) points out to his social and political preoccupations in the defence of ecology. The artist is constantly discovering new sources of exploration.
